Saving water and energy

In order to control and reduce the use of water and energy, the CTCPA offers you some solutions of consumption measurement and “energy” counting plan.

The food industry sector is the third industrial sector in the use of energy, and the first for the use of electricity. Studies in Canada, the Netherlands and in the Rhone-Alpe region showed that it’s possible to reduce this use of energy by 5 to 15%.

The CTCPA provides you with practical solutions to control the consumption of a production site, by using some measurement operations of the consumption of water, or by putting into place an « energy » counting plan. A precise knowledge of consumptions is a pre-request to any action of consumptions reduction.

These approaches are conducted through collective operations or directly with a single company. The collective actions help to define consumption ratio in your sector and in the end, to propose some target values.
