A new campus for trades and qualifications for tomorrow's food supply chain

The CTCPA is a partner in the new project "Campus des métiers et des qualifications de la filière alimentaire de demain en Pays de la Loire". The campus is managed by Ligeriaa, the Academy of Nantes and the DRAAF.

The project is a response to the needs expressed by the economic opportunity analysis of the Pays de la Loire region. Indeed, agricultural and agri-food companies are confronted with competition, digital transition and new technologies, with a major lack of attractiveness and notoriety. In view of the changes in eating habits and users' expectations, the aim is, in close collaboration with the Food for Tomorrow Research, Training & Innovation (RFI) collaborative approach, to adapt the vocational training offer to the needs of economic actors, by:

  • collectively developing a vision that anticipates the needs of agricultural production and the agri-food industries,
  • restoring the attractiveness of jobs and training,
  • supporting agricultural and agri-food companies on the digital transition and new technologies, through the adaptation of the training offer.

A working committee will be held in April on the support of companies on the transition in the agri-food sector.
