Massilly Group strengthens its customer approach with the CTCPA

Massilly, a French group established worldwide, specialises in the manufacture of metal packaging. In order to strengthen its customer approach, the company decided to call on the CTCPA to train its teams on various subjects related to the canning industry. Feedback with Caroline Monnier, in charge of Human Resources.

What was the company's need ?

"Management wanted to give some employees a real customer approach to the cannery. In an approach to improve customer satisfaction, we wanted our employees to better understand our customers' world and therefore the issues behind the assignments entrusted to them.
Given that we had already worked with the CTCPA on certain themes, our choice naturally turned to the range of training offered by the CTCPA related to the canning industry. »

How did the training take place and what did it cover ?

"We started by training our various production and support managers. We have adapted the training into two levels : a "discovery" level for the support staff and an "expert" level for the quality staff.

Following these first successful training sessions, the service managers expressed the wish that they would also be given to their teams. This is what we did and the program was co-constructed between Massilly and the CTCPA - with Nicolas Lehebel, project manager and trainer at the CTCPA in Amiens - adapting it to the context of our company and the needs of the employees.

The training sessions focused on different themes: microbiology, HACCP, crimping, various transformation processes... all with 2-day sessions and with a hundred trainees. They took place in our various subsidiaries and at our various sites throughout France. »

What is your assessment today ?

"The trainings were very appreciated, the overall satisfaction is 3.7/4 (average of 20 participants). Here is an example of a quality manager's feedback " The content is directly applicable to my job. Nicolas Lehebel takes the time, tries to understand things, gets information and prepares his intervention very well.”

Many elements emerged as strong points following the trainings : the trainer, the content and the supports, the respect of the program, the interest and the adequacy of the content, the duration of the training (format 2 days), the pedagogical documents as well as the mastery of the subject by the host. »
